You are invited to participate in the 4th Cachexia Conference to be held December 6-9,2007 at the St. Petersburg Hilton Bayfront in St Petersburg, Florida.
This conference is an ideal opportunity to connect with outstanding leaders in the field of Cachexia research. Our attendees include, clinicians, researchers and educators. We expect members of the fields of oncology, nutrition, and geriatrics.
This year’s program will feature the world’s foremost experts on Cachexia related issues.
We will offer an exhibit program this year. This program will offer several hours of unopposed exhibit time.
Along with the exhibit program we have several support opportunities to enhance your impact on the success of this meeting and the field of Cachexia research. By supporting an educational or networking session and exhibiting at the meeting, your organization can develop relationships with the professionals at the lead of Cachexia research and care.

Conference Purpose and Objectives
Healthcare providers will be able to recognize symptoms that are indicative of both chronic and acute illness that lead to cachexia.
Participants will be able to apply this knowledge to mediate the effects of cachexia across the continuum of care.
Attendees will be able to diagnose, evaluate, manage and treat cachexia resulting from the following diseases or chronic conditions: Cancer; Cardiovascular Disease; Death, Dying & Grief; Dementia / Alzheimer’s Disease; Diabetes; Frailty; Hypertension/stroke / Heart disease; Infectious Diseases; Medications & Polypharmacy; Nutrition; Physiology of Aging; and Sarcopenia.
At the end of the conference, participants will be able to develop appropriate treatment programs for patients with cachexia across the continuum of care. |
